Tootoot is a new way at St Mary’s to report bullying.
Tootoot is a safeguarding platform and app used by secondary schools which allows students to safely report any worries and incidents of bullying, cyber bullying, racism, extremism, radicalisation sexism, mental health and homophobic issues directly to their place of learning. Tootoot can also be used to report any bullying or concerns you have for other pupils.
Sometimes students are too scared or simply aren't confident enough to speak to someone face-to-face about their concerns, for fear of being identified and making maters worse. With Tootoot, students are able to safely and anonymously tell their place of learning about their concerns and worries, as a first step to resolving them.
Students can access tootoot around the clock and can report on their laptops, computers, mobiles and tablets directly using the web browser. Students with smartphones or tablets can even download the tootoot app to use anywhere.
Students can simply login in by selecting ‘St Mary’s Catholic High School’ entering their username firstname.lastname and the password their form teacher has provided them.
If pupils are having any issues with Tootoot they are to go and see their Pastoral Year Lead who will be able to help.
