Great turn out from students in year seven to sixth formers helping out and getting involved in our science fair. Students presented and manned lots of different projects sharing their expertise. Sixth formers dissected a heart and showed younger students the different chambers and functions.
Lab 11 was full with the STEM Club robots which they built themselves and programmed for the fair, this room also showed of students' own interest in technology with information and presentations on drones and a robotic arm. In Lab 10 we had our Astronomy club presenting information on space and making rockets which we have been investigating in our club, they also sold cakes decorated with space and rocket theme. Our science club made and sold bath bombs, presented and demonstrated how to make slime and sherbet, showing how electrostatic charges can be used for fun with the plasma ball and wand.
