Crocky Trail

All places for Crocky Trail have now been taken. 

Crocky Trail is an outdoor adventure park near Chester, known for its mix of trails, slides, rides, tunnels and obstacle-style attractions set in the countryside. Designed as an active, high-energy day out, it offers a fun and unique experience for children and adults alike, with plenty of opportunities for climbing, exploring and adventure.

Cost and Information

The cost to attend Crocky Trail is £29.00. 

We aim to be an inclusive school and will endeavour to support children who wish to go but whose financial situation presents a barrier.  Pupils in receipt of free school meals will automatically receive a discount in MCAS for the chosen activity.

Places are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. Activities will go live in the Educational Visits and Trips section of MCAS on Friday 20th March at 6.00pm. All monies paid are non-refundable.

On the Day

To allow a full day at Crocky Trail, we will be departing school promptly at 8.30am. School will be open from 7.30am for Pupils to attend the Gym as the designated registration point. 

Arrival at Crocky Trial will be around 10am. Pupils will then split in to groups supervised by a member of staff to enjoy their day on the trial. 

A meet up point and time will be agreed on the day, for return to school. 

Estimated arrival time back as school will be 4.30pm. 

Food and Beverages

Crocky Trail has a café on site that will be serving a selection of hot food and drinks along with Ice-Cream at £2 each. 

Crocky Trail is a cashless venue, Pupils will need to have access to make cashless payments.

Pupils in receipt of FSM will be given the option to order a packed lunch from school, closer to departure date. 

Pupils are also welcome to take their own packed lunch and snacks and use the dedicated picnic areas within the zoo. 

What to bring and wear

Pupils can wear their own casual clothing however, please ensure that this is weather appropriate clothing; waterproofs, sun cream and hats may be needed, Crocky Trail  is an outdoor venue and due to the nature of the activities Pupils may get muddy. 

Mobile phones are permitted however neither school nor Crocky Trial accepts any responsibility or liability for any damage or loss of phones, money or any other valuable belongings.

We recommend that Pupils only bring items that are essential for the day.
