Alton Towers
Alton Towers is one of the UK’s most popular theme parks, offering a wide range of rollercoasters, family rides and attractions set within extensive grounds in Staffordshire. Known for its mix of thrill rides, themed areas and entertainment, it provides a fun and exciting day out.
Cost and Information
The cost to attend Alton Towers is £39.00.
We aim to be an inclusive school and will endeavour to support children who wish to go but whose financial situation presents a barrier. Pupils in receipt of free school meals will automatically receive a discount in MCAS for the chosen activity.
Places are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. Activities will go live in the Educational Visits and Trips section of MCAS on Friday 20th March at 6.00pm. All monies paid are non-refundable.
On the Day
To allow a full day at Alton Towers, we will be departing school promptly at 8.00am. School will be open from 7.00am for Pupils to attend the Sports Hall as the designated registration point.
Arrival at Alton Towers will be around 10.00am. Pupils will then split in groups to enjoy their day at Alton Towers.
A meet up point and time will be agreed on the day, for return to school.
Estimated arrival time back as school will be 8.00pm.

Alton Towers is a cashless resort, Pupils will need to have access to make cashless payments.
Alton Towers - Restaurants & Shops
Pupils in receipt of FSM will be given the option to order a packed lunch from school, closer to departure date.
Pupils are also welcome to take their own packed lunch and snacks and use the dedicated picnic areas within the zoo.
What to bring and wear
Pupils can wear their own casual clothing however, please ensure that this is weather appropriate clothing; waterproofs, sun cream and hats may be needed. The Resort is an outdoor venue with limited indoor space.
Mobile phones are permitted however neither school nor Alton Towers accepts any responsibility or liability for any damage or loss of phones, money or any other valuable belongings.
We recommend that students only bring items that are essential for the day.
