St. Mary’s has been paramount in my development into adulthood. Not only have I enjoyed and learned from the lessons of the incredible teaching staff at the college—studying History, Spanish, and Philosophy and Ethics but I have also developed holistically as a person. Without the guidance and genuine encouragement provided by St. Mary’s, I would not have received offers to study History at the Universities of Cambridge and St Andrews. This is a true testament to the ethos of the college: that no student has an academic ceiling, and everything is possible through hard work and the support of the college itself.

During my time at St. Mary’s, I had the best experience in the High School and Sixth Form and made friends for life. I was provided with every opportunity possible which overall helped me to get to where I am today, and I couldn’t recommend it more. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level, and have been offered a place to study Engineering at the University of Oxford.

I had an amazing time at St. Mary’s and I always felt I had so much support from all of my teachers, which made it possible for me to get a place studying Medicine at the University of Liverpool. The skills I learned at St. Mary’s will be incredibly useful during my career as a doctor
