A young Vietnamese man who was converted to Christianity by Jesuit missionaries. He became an educator for others, and refused to deny his faith even when ordered to do so. In the Church he has the title “Proto-martyr (the first martyr) of Vietnam”, with a proud legacy of standing up for what he believed in. He is the patron of our Andrew form group.

Our Andrew mural capture’s Andrew’s legacy in Vietnam. The church buildings on the left, and the soldiers on the right show the history of persecution and growth of the Christian community since Andrew’s death.
