The buzz about books has continued with several pop up reading groups this half term about the Bookbuzz books, which the year 7 students were gifted in October.

Various staff around school have been reading the books too, and ran lunchtime one-off sessions to meet with some of the students who had read the same book as them. We had some great discussions, on subjects as varied as what is the most amazing animal on the planet, and if you were making a film of your book who would you cast in the main roles. Everyone had fun, and quite a few biscuits were eaten in the process. It was good to discuss books we had read in an informal setting over lunch and meet new people with similar interests in the process.

Thanks to Mr Taylor and Mrs Managh for giving up their free time to read books and run some of the groups.
