St Mary’s held it's annual open day on Saturday 28th September 2019 for the community with a particular focus on pupils in Years 5 and 6.  The school was a hive of activity with hundreds of St Mary’s pupils giving up their Saturday morning to welcome our many visitors and share their experience of St Mary’s.

The school was exceptionally busy and parents commented on what a happy and safe feel the school had; one visitor wrote about the "excellent pastoral support available" and almost all the evaluations commented on our amazing students and how polite and informative they were. During the Head’s speech he urged parents to visit the school again but this time on a normal working day to see how this warm but calm and purposeful atmosphere pervades all that we do.

Requests received during or just before school closure periods will not be able to be responded to within the one calendar month response period. This is because no one will be on site to comply with the request. As a result, it is unlikely that your request will be received during this time (and so the time period does not run until we receive the request). We may not be able to acknowledge your request during this time (i.e. until a time we receive the request) and the time period may not start until the School re-opens. The School will endeavour to comply with requests as soon as possible and will keep in communication with you as far as possible. If your request is urgent, please provide your request during term times and not during/close to closure periods.
